We’ve officially reached November, so you know what that means! Christmas is around the corner and sale season is upon us. Twice each year, Sephora hosts a HUGE sale event for Rouge, VIB, and Insiders. Today is the first day that all three groups have access (Rouge and VIB get early access to the sale) I figured most of you would be Insiders or VIB so waited for the sale to open up to insiders to put out this post.
To break it down:
Rouge Members: Must spend over $1,000 each year to maintain this status. Rouge members are able to access the sale 6 days before Beauty Insiders and 4 days before VIB. They receive 20% off their entire purchase.
VIB Members: Must spend over $350 each year to maintain their status. They are able to access the sale 2 days before beauty Insiders and can redeem 15% off their purchase.
Beauty Insiders: This category is free to join and maintain. All you have to do is sign up |here| and you’ll be able to receive 10 % off your purchase.
I haven’t finalized my purchase just yet, because I’m trying to decide if I want to shop in person or shop online and have a longer wait. However, here are a few items I have my eye on plus a few of my recommendations!
NARS: A little while ago, NARS came out with a foundation to solve our mask problems. The Soft Matte Foundation is transfer proof and doesn’t oxidize! I ran in store to swatch this product and it looks amazing and definitely held up on the transfer resistance end. I also spotted two lip products from NARS. The Afterglow Lip Balm Minis and Orgasm Oil- Infused Lip Tint. I’ve been looking for a good lip balm since winter is only a month away, and fell in love with the packaging on both of these (who doesn’t like something pretty to look at, lol) ! I was able to find a mini set that included both the balm and lip tint so I can throw in my bag when I’m on the go. They also have a set with those two products plus a blush, but in my opinion, that set is a bit overpriced since the blush is so tiny.
Hourglass: When I went in store, I noticed the Ambient Glow Palettes and had to swatch them. I’ve heard so many great things about the brand, but never got a chance to try it out since it’s on the pricey side. BUT, this formula is so smooth and it literally melts into the skin and doesn’t leave a cast. In my opinion, it’s definitely worth every penny, plus highlighters tend to last me a long time so I’ll definitely be purchasing during the sale!
Huda Beauty: I’ve tried a few of her products in the past, and must say her eyeshadows are PHENOMENAL! My favorite eyeshadow palette I’ve ever purchased is the Huda Beauty The New Nude . Lately I’ve been eyeing the Mini Nude Obsessions, Hydrating Lip Balm, Silk Balm, and the new Naughty Nudes Palette. As I stared earlier, I’m on the hunt for a really good hydrating lip product(s) to help get me through the winter months. I saw in store that the Silk Balm has hyaluronic spheres to help plump up the lips (I love the plumping effect on natural lips) Plus this will help hydrate the lips.

Laura Mercier: When the infamous Translucent Loose Setting Powder released a new shade ‘Honey’ I knew I had to try! I was hoping to purchase during this savings event, but I think instead, I’ll get the limited edition rose gold packaging and then try the new shade later.
Rare Beauty: Although this brand is only a few months old, their products have been a very big hit in the beauty world! When I was inside of Sephora, I was immediately drawn to the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer. If you do get this product, be careful because a little bit goes a LONG WAY. This will definitely last you for months! I probably won’t purchase during the sale because I’ve already brought a few new highlighters recently so I’ll hold off on this one since it didn’t wow me like the Hourglass Ambient Lighting.
Charlotte Tilbury: I’ve been wanting to try the Airbrush Flawless Finish line from Charlotte Tilbury for a long time, and this is my number one craving. So many beauty gurus swear by this, so I figured this savings event would be the best time to purchase since it is pricey.
Jouer: Highlighters are probably one of my favorite beauty products to purchase, and I love finding gold-toned highlighters! This Molten All Over Glow Highlighter is highly pigmented so you’ll only need a little at a time. It can also be used on your body (hence the name) so will come in handy around the summer and spring time if you want that “bronzy glow.”
Lancome: The Teint Idole line is ICONIC. I’ve sampled the foundation a while ago and loved it, plus the color looked so good and it lasts all day! If you’re interested in a luxury foundation, then this is one that I certainly recommend, and it’s not that much more than the NARS foundation! I’d also recommend you try the primer that goes with this foundation. The packaging is gorgeous and it pairs well with other foundations!

Now you guys know I couldn’t leave without mentioning my skincare finds! I’m always on the hunt for good skincare products to incorporate in my routine!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen me talk about a few of these products already.
P.S. if you don’t follow me on Instagram, then what are you doing?! You can find me @allpoisedandpretty
Fresh: This is one of those brands where I literally want to try everything they have! I’ve heard countless good reviews about them and have been eyeing a good hydrator to add to my routine. I’d really like to try the Rose Collection, especially the Deep Hydration Serum, Toner, and Cream
Summer Friday: One step I feel like I’ve been missing is masking! I only own one mask and it’s clay, which supposedly isn’t good for dry skin. I figured the Jet Lag Mask would be the perfect replacement. It is a multi-use product so it can be worn as a 10-minute mask, overnight mask, or even a day cream when you feel like you need that extra boost of moisture!
Laneige: Don’t get mad at me for recommending another lip product, but I absolutely HATE the feeling of dry, chapped lips. The My Lip Sleeping Mask is probably the most popular lip product out right now! I mean, who doesn’t want to wake up to baby soft lips!
Tatcha: Often times it can be hard to find a cleanser that isn’t drying and works well with sensitive skin. But the Rice Wash Cleanser vows to keep you hydrated and soft-feeling
Olehenriksen: Around this time last year, I tried the Truth Serum and fell in love! I didn’t repurchase because I wanted to try other Vitamin C serums to see which worked the best, and I will say this one definitely is my number 1 for now. I noticed the effects a lot faster with this serum than with the other ones I’ve tried. Plus it smells AMAZING and isn’t as sticky. I’ve heard that it pairs well with the Glow Dark Spot Toner and the two combined speed along the brightening process! I have a few acne scars that I’m trying to fade and hopefully these two will be the answer because I’m running out of my Murad and not sure if I’ll repurchase just yet.
