Recently I’ve noticed that I’ve been more into fragrances and have been sniffing out perfumes to figure out what scents I like. Usually I’ll just throw on some body spray from Bath & Body Works (fun fact: I used to work there for a year) but as you know, those don’t tend to last long. So I finally decided that I’d start collecting perfumes.
It was so tough for me to decide which fragrance to pick first (life of an indecisive person), but with spring around the corner I figured I’d go with something fresh and floral with fruity notes. I ended up picking the *drumroll* Lancôme Idole
Lancome Idole Eau de Parfum
Top Notes: Bright Citrus, Clean Rose, Spotless Jasmine, White Musks, Vanilla
Middle Notes: Rose, Jasmine
Base Notes: Bergamot, Juicy Pear, Pink Peppercorn
This is a very beautiful, soft fragrance. At first I thought it was too floral (I can only do floral if there’s some fruitiness added in). But, the more I smelt it, the more sweet it became.
I only grabbed the smallest size (.8 oz) because I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it. But I’m loving it as an everyday fragrance. It’s very light (not to confuse with faint) and isn’t overpowering. I do wish that it lasted a bit longer so may try the intense version soon. I did smell the intense version in store and it was a lot less fruity, but I didn’t apply it to my skin so it could smell different once touching my skin
