With everything going on with COVID-19, I was given an extra week of spring break. Unfortunately, many stores were closing early and with all the fear circulating, I was kind of second-guessing going into stores to shop. I realized Amazon was still up and running, so figured this would be the perfect time to place an order. Usually, I don’t bulk order from Amazon, I typically just buy as needed. But I received a $15 Amazon gift card so figured why not.
The fastest way to get your order is by signing up for Amazon Prime. You are able to test out Amazon Prime for 30 days by clicking here
If you are a student, you can try Amazon Prime for 6 months, then get 50% off each month by clicking here
When you sign up for Prime, not only are your packages delivered in 2 days, but you also have access to over 12,00 movies plus music! I always recommend testing out the service before you fully commit, so be sure to get your free 30-day trial (or 6-month trial if you are a student)
For a while now, I have been debating if I should buy a new lounge blanket. Since I’ll be in the house a lot more, I finally gave in. I knew that I wanted a leopard print blanket (I’ve been leopard obsessed lately). At first, I was leaning more towards a snow leopard blanket, but when I started scrolling through the ‘similar items section’ I landed on the Betsy Johnson Leopard Sherpa Throw. It was the only leopard throw that had pink in it, so you know I HAD to have it! It also matched the pajama set that I got from Target which sealed the deal!
This is probably one of the only items that I actually needed, like ASAP. I know I’m not the only person who eats in front of their laptop. While you may think you’re multitasking, you’re actually trapping food all throughout your keyboard and keys. I really wanted something that would be easy to clean if I dropped anything on my laptop. Instead of buying a separate keyboard cover, I decided to see if I could find a laptop case to go along with it. If you saw my current case, you’d know why. I purchased my last laptop case from Amazon, and it lasted me about 2 years (I’ve attached my old case also if you’re interested) The color that I chose is Rose Quartz. I was going to go for a marble case, but it’s so hard finding marble that isn’t too dark or that is subtle like I like.
Loungewear is my absolute favorite thing ever, especially if its paired with some furry slippers. The fur on my other slippers started to flatten out, so they became less comfortable. I wanted some slippers that had a bit of a thick sole, or that would wear slow. The house slippers I own now are from Victoria’s Secret, and they’re pretty comfortable, but they pick up dirt easily so I need a pair to wear while the others are in the wash.
Don’t judge, but yes, I still have the Apple Airpods 2. I’m not really a fan of the shape of the Airpods pro, so I’ll just stick to these. But, I’ve gone through 2 cases, and I just fell out of love with them. I’ve already had this case, but in a different color. Since I don’t attach my Airpods to my keychain anymore, I decided I would get a color other than pink. Plus, I got so many compliments when I did have this case.
UPDATE: I did add another Airpods case to my cart, so I’ve added the link below (you’re welcome )
This is probably the item that I am most excited about. If you looked in my fridge, you would know why. I did some grocery shopping last week and got a ton of fruits and veggies. I somehow lost all of the pink containers that I bought at Target, and they never seem to restock it. This time, I figured I would get glass containers so they would last longer and be harder to lose. These containers come in a set of 10 for only $28, making each container about $2.80 each!
Last but not least, I found a charging stand for all of my Apple electronics. You’re able to charge your Airpods, iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple Pencil all at once. This is very convenient for me so that I don’t need multiple cords/ charging outlets. It’s also nice because I do have the Xs Max and it fits perfectly on the charging dock.
UPDATE: Sorry!! I just realized that this charging station isn’t wireless, so you do still need your cords to charge. But I still like the dock because it keeps all of your electronics in one place. I have attached a link for a similar charging station that’s wireless
In all, I had 6 items in my cart and before the $15 credit, my total came to $140. That’s probably the most I’ve ever spent on Amazon in one sitting, but that’s what happens when you can’t go outside. I have attached all of the links for everything in my cart, along with items that I mentioned above.
I hope you all are staying safe out there, and be sure to check back TOMORROW for another post!
